Not only is it the pettiest line in the entire piece – which is otherwise very well crafted – it’s an excessively harsh overstatement that belongs in a Letter to the Editor or something equally unprofessional. I’m surprised to see it, given the professional nature of the rest of the piece.

That being said, I probably would have written it, too. Kudos for poking the bear.
