Rec Center Profiting unfairly from students

I find it unfathomable that students whom forget their ID should have to pay ,an unreasonable, five dollars to get into the REC Center. Students pay good money to attend this college and benefit from a nice gym. However, due to students forgetting their ID’s, The REC Center decided to grossly benefit from their absentmindedness. The REC Center decided to take advantage of their paying customers by making a policy of an extra five dollar payment each time a customer/student forgets his or her card. The Director of the Rec Center , Pete Rattigan informed me that,” students were forgetting their card a lot; and to prevent this we decided to install a charge policy”. This sounds to me like a money making racket. Someone cleverly thought to take advantage of the students each time they forgot their card. So they installed a policy that the REC Center could benefit from financially. How shameful to take advantage of paying customers. When I found out about this I was outraged. They are profiting from your mistake. How POOR. You know what!…SHIT HAPPENS! Sometimes people forget things. We are only human. They should ban this charge and do a little more to secure that the person entering the building is a student. I you are a member you should be in the computer which then verifies that you are a member. How hard can it be? I am now ashamed to say that I, due to being a student, am a member at the REC Center whom has shamefully taken advantage of students to better their profits. This is just disgusting.
