Theta Chi Raises Money For March Of Dimes
Theta Chi Fraternity raised over $363 for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation via a donation table in the Student Center. A representative from the charity’s local chapter has reported that it has been the largest single donation by a volunteer group in their history.
Philanthropy chair Matt Wristbridge coordinated the event, by contacting the organ-
ization and asking what Theta Chi could do to assist their cause. Based on their response, a
table was set up in the Student Center from 10 A.M. – 4 P.M. on consecutive weeks for students and faculty to donate. Although another donation drive will occur in November, the generosity of the Rowan community ensures that the fight to stop premature birth and its possibly fatal effects will continue in the local area.
